My name is Exten, and I was born in 1988 in St. James, Montego Bay, Jamaica.
From a very young age, I was drawn to music. As a child, my favorite playtime activity was banging on buckets and pans with my mother's kitchen utensils. She often got upset with me, but I just couldn't stop—it felt worth the scolding.
I still remember my first performance vividly. It was in 1999 at a place called Waterhouse in Kingston, Jamaica, during a local competition. I was so nervous stepping on stage and seeing the crowd, but that moment solidified my love for performing.
When it comes to music, I consider myself a versatile artist. I love experimenting with different genres and never shy away from a challenge.
One of the most unforgettable moments in my career was performing at the legendary Reggae Sumfest in 2023. Sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in Dancehall, including Tommy Lee, Masicka, Valiant, Chronic Law, and many more, was an absolute thrill.
Giving back has always been important to me. I've had the honor of performing at numerous charity events, which is my way of showing gratitude and making a positive impact through music.
